The United Way Rubbermaid Product Sale will be held on Saturday, July 31, from 8am-12 noon, at the Belk parking lot- Apple Blossom Mall. This months sale benefits the Winchester Day Pre School.
The monthly sale is made possible by a special partnership between United Way NSV, Rubbermaid Commercial Products and The Salvation Army. Product sales help the United Way and its partner agencies generate addition funds to meet local needs. The products available are returned goods, discontinued products and slightly damaged items.

Description: In a Certificate of Recognition proclaiming August 1 – 7 as Virginia Farmers’ Market Week, Governor Bob McDonnell invited Virginians across the state to join the celebration. The state now boasts more than 190 local farmers’ markets, with one or more within easy driving distance of almost every citizen, rural or urban.
When consumers visit a farmers’ market and snap a photo, they may submit it for a chance to win a Virginia Grown/Virginia’s Finest prize package worth $100. That’s a lot of healthy eating. 2010 Woodstock Turket Trot 10K/5K and Tenny K

Description: Join us for the 1st Annual Woodstock Turkey Trot 10K/5K & Teeny K Saturday November 20th, 2010, sponsored by Regulus Group, LLC. All proceeds from the race benefit the Shenandoah County Free Clinic, a non profit organization that provides medical, dental, and pharmaceutical services to Shenandoah Valley residents who otherwise could not afford them.

The course starts and finishes at the Massanutten Military Academy track and runs along neighborhood roads of Woodstock, VA. The Teeny K Fun Run is 2.5 laps around the Massanutten Military Academy Track.
The 10K & 5K Early Bird fee is $25 (due before October 22). After September 20 its $30. Race day registration fee (October 22) is $35. Teeny K Fun Run is $10.
