Purpose and Goals of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce.
The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is organized to achieve the following objectives:
To advance the commercial, industrial, and civic growth and welfare of the Town of Woodstock and vicinity.
To aid in the advancement and conservation of the business, professional, and educational interests of the Town of Woodstock, County of Shenandoah, and Commonwealth of Virginia
To foster and encourage the agricultural development of the County of Shenandoah
To collect and preserve, and to give out, when authorized by the Board of Directors, statistical information and data covering and in reference to the commerce, trade, business, capital, industry, and growth of the town of Woodstock and of the County of Shenandoah
To abate any nuisances injuriously affecting said Town of Woodstock
To aid, assist and cooperate in securing and establishing industries, business enterprises, and to foster and encourage tourism in Woodstock and vicinity.
